The Master of Science (MS) and doctoral (PhD) degree programs are for students interested in pursuing a career teaching hospitality management in higher education and conducting research in the field. Both degrees involve developing a broad-based knowledge of hotel and restaurant management; learning research methodology, including statistical methodology; becoming proficient at in-depth research; and acquiring teaching and administrative skills.
